Voice Work.jpg

The body is the instrument that houses the voice.

Through the exploration of movement, we release ourselves to the free identity that is our voice, our sound, and our place in the universe.

Based on Iris Warren and Kristin Linklater’s radical breakaway from the formal vocal techniques of yesteryear, Frances works through yoga and movement to free the natural voice. Students’ are introduced to their authentic voice, supported by free and easy breath flow.

Each of us have blocks that inhibit our voice - whether it be emotional, physical, or environmental. Using yoga, Frances guides students through movement to free the human instrument from tension - allowing for full breath - releasing the power of each individual voice.

Frances is is a certified Yoga Alliance teacher. But she is also trained in all the spoken arts, Linklater Voice Method, Rodenburg Voice and Speech, Vibrant Voice Technique, Alexander Technique, Authentic Movement, and Koltai Embodied Practice. She incorporates all these teachings into her Yoga & Voice classes.
